Goth, synth wave, doom metal, acid and footwork all get shout outs in this electronic noise. Shlohmo employed a lot of tricks to make these tunes, and he explains each disintigrating sound in the track-by-track breakdown below. It’s a beautifully-brooding collection of 13 songs to soundtrack an exploration of inner-space. Shlohmo took inspiration from cults and religious sects that see the apocalypse as a party.
